DCU was chartered in 1979. Since then DCU has been chosen as the credit union for more than 700 companies and organizations and serves more than 330,000 members and their families in all 50 states. DCU is the largest credit union headquartered in New England as measured by assets and among the top 15 nationwide.

There are several ways to qualify for membership in DCU. You can join if you work for or are retired from one of over 750 companies, are in the immediate family of a member or someone who works for one of our participating employers, or you belong to an organization or community in our field of membership.
